Cory Mills Allegedly Profited $1M from Gun Sales to Federal Prisons While Serving in Congress

Updated: 6 days ago

A recent report from the Office of Congressional Conduct has raised serious concerns regarding Representative Mills, indicating there is “substantial reason to believe” he may have engaged in contracts with federal agencies during his time in Congress.

The investigation highlights that Mills and his wife are associated with two entities, “Pacem Defense/ALS,” which has reportedly received close to $1,000,000 for supplying munitions and weapons to prisons. Additionally, another entity, Pacem Solutions, entered into a contract with the federal government last May for approximately $11,600.

The report notes that Mills did not cooperate with the investigation. In light of this, the OCC’s board has suggested that the Ethics Committee consider issuing a subpoena to compel his participation. This situation unfolds amid a separate criminal investigation into Mills, who faces allegations of assaulting a woman, purportedly his mistress for a year, at a luxury D.C. penthouse. Mills has categorically denied these charges.

These developments come on the heels of previous controversies involving Rep. Mills, raising broader ethical concerns about his conduct in office. The implications of these findings could have significant repercussions for his political career and the trust constituents place in their representatives.
