CLAIMS: 

  • May 2005-December 2009 Mills claims to have been overseas during this time "fighting against tyranny," getting "personally targeted by Iranian terrorists," fighting in many wars, working for federal agencies, "deployed several times... over 7 years in Iraq," serving "5 years military and 5 years in the government," etc.

FACTS:

  • August 2003 – May 2005 - Mills attended Jacksonville Community College and earned an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts for Health Administrative Services

  • August 2003 - Mills rented an apartment with Imelda Montero at Danforth Drive, Jacksonville, FL

  • September 4, 2004 – Mills married Imelda Montero in Duval County; Mills rented another apartment with Imelda Montero Mills at Richmond Park Dr N in Jacksonville, FL

  • 2005 - Worked for DYN Corporation doing USAID projects. 

  • June 2007 - Mills and his wife bought a townhome at 13536 Isla Vista Dr., Jacksonville, FL for $461,000 using two mortgages; Cory Mills was in Jacksonville at the time of the purchase and signed the mortgages in person.

  • May 2008 - Imelda Montero Mills filed for divorce. The divorce was official on June 2, 2008 Mills was in Jacksonville at the time of the divorce and signed the final judgment in person. Mills was ordered to pay the IRS tax lien and credit cards. See order here.

  • 2009 - Cory Mills received his first IRS Federal Tax Lien for not paying his federal income taxes for 2007.

  • December 2009 - Mills contract with DYN Corp ended and was not renewed.

This is the home Mills listed on his DD214 as his mailing address in August 2003. It was owned by his fiance's family. Cory and Imelda moved into an apartment at Danforth Drive in Jacksonville, Florida that same month.
